THE AUTHOR
A.C. Holmes

A.C. Holmes writes to illuminate the quiet heroism of women, history tried to forget. Her novels explore moral courage, forbidden love, and the cost of survival in times of upheaval.
A graduate of UC Irvine, Holmes studied under acclaimed novelist Thomas Keneally (Schindler’s List) and continues to craft emotionally resonant, historically rich fiction from her home in California.
The Shelby Morrow Journals, 1929–1935 is a six-part series chronicling one woman’s journey to freedom and dignity in a world at war with itself.
